Fred Yarmuth aka Freddy the Ref

For over 30 years Freddy has been instumental in growing the league and making a lasting impression on countless kids and families over the years.  From coaching and refereeing generations of players to being a source of laughter and inspiration, Yarmuth's passion for youth sports has earned him a well-deserved place in the Parkland Flag Football Hall of Fame and the Dr. Nan S. Hutchison Broward County Senior Hall of Fame. Yarmuth continues to serve his community, exemplifying a selfless and charismatic individual dedicated to creating lasting memories and relationships.

John Thraum

John, a true embodiment of the values championed by the Freddy the Ref award and the PFFL, has rightfully earned his place in the Hall of Fame. His unwavering dedication, selflessness, and countless hours spent assisting with equipment, enforcing rules, and leading the referee crew attest to his exceptional commitment to the league. As a referee, board member, and head of equipment, John's contributions have been invaluable, making him a true hall of famer in every sense.

Matt Kaufman

Matt took over as league President in 2020, amidst the unprecedented and dreaded Covid-19 outbreak. As countless leagues succumbed to the overwhelming circumstances, Matt remained resolute in his belief that our community deserved a league that would endure. With an unwavering passion and unrelenting drive, Matt spearheaded the league, ensuring not only its survival but also its remarkable progress and expansion throughout his 3 years. His unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership qualities made him an undeniable source of inspiration for all involved in the Parkland Flag Football League (PFFL).  He stepped down after the 2022 season when he won his first Super Bowl as a coach.
